WHO WE ARE

The good work of Hope Ranch is the result of an entire team of individuals striving, together, toward our common goal. We are a Christ-centered, trauma-informed staff, all led by the Executive Director. The staff serves survivors and is responsible for the development of whole-life health in the women they serve.

We’re thrilled to introduce you to our impassioned leaders.

LMSW

“I’m honored to be joining Hope Ranch for Women as the Executive Director. God has given me many opportunities in my career that have led me to this organization. Most of my career has been working with vulnerable children and families in numerous states. While I’ve witnessed the transformation of many lives, I’ve yearned for an opportunity to further my core belief that systems and organizations cannot transform lives, only God can truly transform your life. My hope and prayer is that my knowledge, skills, and abilities can enhance the great work that is already happening at Hope Ranch for Women. Using my faith as the guide, I will also embrace my strengths in organizational structure, strategic planning, donor relations, and community partnership to lead me as Executive Director.

“Outside of work, my husband and I enjoy spending time with our six children and three grandchildren with the fourth on the way. Our faith and family are at the heart of our daily lives and try to find opportunities to live out our faith in our community and surrounding area. My husband also works for a non-profit organization in Wichita managing their facilities. You might say that giving back is at our core. Thank you for giving me this opportunity and I look forward to many years with Hope Ranch for Women and excited to see what the future holds.”

Jaclynn D. | Residential Program Director

“Throughout my life, I’ve been reminded that Jesus didn’t seek to establish his upside-down kingdom among the elites, the powerful, or the wise. Instead, he chose the lowly, the sinners, and the  most vulnerable— people like the residents at the ranch, people like you, and people like me. The opportunity to serve the residents and staff at Hope Ranch for Women is one of my life’s greatest gifts, and seeing the lives of women healed and transformed creates joy like nothing else. The joy in my work is only surpassed by getting to be Aiden, Brenna, Joey, and Sammy’s mom, my favorite quadruplets who are just beginning their adventures as young adults.”

“The past 20 years have been dedicated to empowering women on their healing journeys. I have witnessed when we offer a trusting heart and an honest, open mind to God renewal is on the way. My greatest joy comes from walking alongside women on their path to freedom. Serving the courageous women the Lord sends to Hope Ranch for Women is am honor and a privilege. Women are experiencing healing and finding freedom in Christ. For over 20 years, I’ve been blessed with a wonderful family life. My husband and I have raised six amazing children, three boys and three girls, who have now gifted us with precious grandchildren. Spending time with this growing family brings me immense joy. When I’m not surrounded by loved ones, I treasure exploring the world with my adventurous husband by my side.”

Kathy H. | Board of Trustees Chair

“I am honored to serve as the Chair of the Board of Trustees and as a mentor. The board, staff, mentors and many volunteers involved with Hope Ranch are amazing faith-filled individuals who work every day to brighten the lives of the women we serve and empower them to find their path and become all that they can be. Working with all of them and seeing the transformation of the women we serve is such a joy.

“After obtaining a Master’s in Nursing Administration, I held many administrative and leadership positions including a medical center Vice President, Executive Director of a state-wide Hospice program, hospice surveyor/educator for the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations where I also helped write the U.S. standards for hospice care, and a member of the US Senate Advisory Committee for the development of the Medicare Hospice benefit. Currently I serve on the KS Selective Service Board and the Sedgwick County Dist. 1 Citizens Advisory Board. Formerly I served on the Behavioral Sciences Regulatory Board, KS Arts Commission, Historic Sites Board of Review, and the KS Preservation Alliance.

“I’ve been married to my husband, Ben, for 43 years and we are the proud parents of two grown daughters. We share our home with our wonderful schnoodle, Maggie.”
